Learnerships

Bridging Education and Employment through Accredited Programmes

Our Programmes

ISkill offers SETA-accredited learnership programmes that combine theoretical training with practical workplace experience. These programmes are ideal for unemployed youth, employed learners seeking career growth, and employers looking to build a skilled workforce.

What is a Learnership?

A learnership is a work-based learning programme registered with the QCTO and Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) that leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

For Learners

Learnerships present an excellent opportunity for individuals—particularly unemployed youth—to gain accredited skills while earning a stipend during the learning period.

  •  Fully funded training (where SETA or employer sponsorship applies).
  •  Monthly stipend while gaining skills.
  • Real workplace exposure.
  • Nationally recognised qualification.

For Employers

Learnerships provide a pathway for developing a skilled and competent workforce, often at a lower cost than traditional recruitment methods. They also offer access to a pool of talent with relevant, industry-specific skills.

  • Access to SETA funding
  • Support with recruitment and administration.
  • Contribution to B-BBEE scorecard.
  • Tailored upskilling solutions.
